This is the last chapter of Myth of Eye Disease. But i believe more myth about eye disease outside. Sometimes we regret because think it stupid. But when you face the problem, you cry. So, who is stupid person now?
8. Glaucoma eye diseases caused by high blood pressure
Wrong. Glaucoma disease caused by increased pressure inside the eyeball. The reason a lot. There is a derivative, so that the fluid channel system in the eyes of the eyeball is blocked, or narrowed.
Which is not a derivative may be caused by disorders of lens, mature cataract or broken, post-surgical eye on the disease in the eye (iris), which resulted in disruption of fluid flow system of the eye, and ends with the rising eye pressure.
Heightened eye pressure has nothing to do with high blood pressure. People who do not have high blood pressure is also high eyeballs. Conversely, people who do not necessarily low blood does not glaucoma.
9. Cataracts only in elderly people
Not always true. It’s more cataracts occur in older people, as part of the aging process. However, the age of the baby can cataracts also. Cataracts since birth brought the baby in the womb early. Different types of cataract with cataract infants and elderly adults.
Cataracts as a complication of other diseases can be sustained before the age of information, including the complications of diabetes, due to radiation, sunlight, or eye lens damage by free radicals, which would occur well before old age.
